Rebecca and Marcos' intended purpose for this album is to acknowledge the common experiences and needs of everyday people, striving to reconcile the seemingly diverse truths of life's struggles with God's peace -- resolving to the ultimate fact that 'He Reigns.' 'Lord of My Heart' is about positioning one's self at the feet of God, while 'You Are Strong' confronts the outside forces designed to stop one from reaching what God desires them to have, and resolves with the haunting chorus and refrain that acknowledges the source of our life and strength. Rebecca and Marcos' life-long passion and conviction was birthed in childhood days spent singing spiritual hymns in their parent's livingroom and offering their gift of music and song to uplift others through this universal language. 'In This House' is a pensive reflection of our obligation to present our lives and bodies as true temples of God, while 'As I Wait' speaks about waiting for God's visitation and our ultimate encounter before the Throne. Birthed in a time of personal difficulties, 'Have Faith In God' endeavors to encourage one to preservere through the inevitable hardships we all face. 'We Will Be Together' is written to be a reflection of what the disciples must have felt when their Master went away, and has recently taken on a new meaning when our beloved sister, Crystal, went to her eternal home in 2010. The offering of words of worship is expressed in 'Let The Words,' has Rebecca joined in a duet with Grammy Winning vocalist, producer and songwriter Jaymes E. Felix. Rebecca and Marcos have put forth their Offering in hopes that each song will make a positive contribution to the world by touching someone and earning a place in each listener's heart, making our common experiences a unifying thread.
