XII: Ancient astronaut Re-Vo's long-awaited "XII" is a 48-track homemade soundscape of colossal proportions. Re-Vo's "XII" is inspired by the Sumerological writings ("The Earth Chronicles") of Zecharia Sitchin regarding humanity's ancient cosmic ancestors. An epic tale told in 12 chapters, 12 keys, and 12 time signatures, "XII" relates Sitchin's version of the first humanoid visitors to Earth, and their controversial, alleged bioengineering experiments. Ultimately, "XII" examines our origins, critiques our spiritual foundations and institutions, questions our historical records, and fathoms the possibilities of our future. As does all of Re-Vo's art, "XII" worries that humanity has, somewhere en route, taken a bizarre detour into hollow decadence and de-volution. Yet, "XII" offers a solution for the destiny of mankind.
