Learning to Love
Hailing from South Texas--Ram Danesse and his approach to music is simple. Ram writes simple songs about complex things he's experienced such as overcoming obstacles in life, the strong belief in karma, and the sincere approach of expressing these ideas through music. Melding classic influences from blues legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King & Robert Cray with newer rock influences like Incubus, Tool and John Mayer--Ram Danesse has managed to create his own distinct sound ready to share with the world. Ram Danesse's new CD, 'Learning To Love' best showcases his sound with 11 tracks recorded and produced by bassist/producer Omar Vallejo of the awardwinning Texas band, Vallejo. With songs like "The Sun" & "Blue"--phrases turn, emotions connect & melodies soar as each song highlights Ram's unique mix of blues, rock, pop and soul. Ram and his band got it's start eight years ago as a group of middle school friends with a common interest in music. Since then they have shared the stage with national acts Third Eyed Blind, Saving Abel, Altered Bridge, Vallejo, Patricia Vonne, Miser & The Cranberries. Moving forward with a fiery live show and the new CD Learning To Love in tow, the sky's the limit for Danesse and his band. "We finally got together and decided to make this thing serious." claims Ram "We've been a full band for a few years now and have just recently played some big shows. So we're really excited about the future's possibilities and always reaching new audiences with our music."
