¾'s of Quarter Monkey formed in the summer of 2006. Tony Brickner, Ty Pfundheller, and Jereme Riccelli began working on an eight song demo patiently awaiting the return of long time friend Vinnie (human beat machine). Approximately one year later Heaven's stars aligned and the four local Spokane Washington rockers united. With their first and powerful performance under- belt at a local watering-house (Blue Spark) Quarter Monkey sought refuge underground only playing select shows outside of the laboratory in order to create the music of what has been called the "Lucy" era. In late March 2008 Quarter Monkey started recording at Amplified Wax in Spokane Washington. Quarter Monkey's debut album "Lucy" will be officially released on November 8th, 2008.
