The Predicates consists of a male and female singer with strong harmonies and catchy guitar riffs. Their songs are fun, and poppy with lots of energy. The Predicates now play around the greater Boston, Massachusetts area and are looking to expand their career. Their original lyrics and cool harmonies, intertwined with their knowledge of music, contributes to an overall sound that is refreshing and easy to relate to. Erica Putis is a singer/song writer for The Predicates. Erica's interest in music started at an early age and blossomed while in high school and college. She performed in many concerts, choirs, recitals, and musicals throughout her teenage years. Erica attended Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts, and graduated with an Associates of Arts in Music, Theater and Dance. Erica's career began when she joined a rock band called Room 1 and became their back-up singer. She continued performing with a talented pianist, and they created a jazz standard, musical duo called Low Key. Erica has distributed her first original solo CD throughout the country and is now focusing on The Predicates. Gregg O'Connell is a guitarist and singer/songwriter for The Predicates. He started playing guitar at age 14 and song writing soon followed. Gregg started playing his original music, live at local open mic nights, where his tunes became well known and liked. He has opened up for some local bands where his set consisted of mostly originals with some early 90's alternative covers sowed in. Gregg met Erica at open mic and they have been collaborating ever since. The creative energy and charisma that The Predicates bring to their music is projected in their new CD and is magnified through their performances.
