George 'Portland George aka 44.C' Robins Jr was born Dec 22 1981 in Los Angeles California. His dad who played for the Milwaukie Brewers MLB team & Mother decided when he was just 3 yrs old to relocate to Portland, Oregon due to family circumstances. Ever Since then he's been on His Portland grind. Starting in middle school he noticed he was able to write rhymes to instrumentals with a comedical twist. While George was attending Kellog middle School he met his long time friend and producer Nate Rimmel who attended Mt.Tabor middle school. George then attended Franklin High School In SE Portland and quickly began building his Portland George reputation. Around that time he would meet DGun his future business partner & fellow recording artist. Then they made a rap group with their friend Cyrano & his cousin PNote called 'Oregonized Rhymes' a play on their home state of Oregon. Years would pass and the group eventually split before getting a deal or any local recognition. At that point in time George & DGun still had the drive & determination to be successful in the rap game. So they decided to partner with George's cousin Bo to combine their mutual love of getting paper and Bo's business savy when it comes to getting paid. That's when they decided to stop chasin hood money and start gettin industry paper thus Syndicate Mobb Records LLC was born. That's when they decided to bring some other artists into the fold. Such as Bigg Kozz from Lubbock, TX, High School friend Nonsense, Lynx Montana from Pontiac, MI, R.O.C. From Camden County, NJ, Iz-Real from Portland,Or & JR the R&B Specialist of The Mobb. In Late 2008 George began doing shows along side the rest of the mobb weekly at various venues thru-out Oregon & Washington. Quickly building a reputation for his intense performances his lyrically creative bars & his grimy hood sound. With that buzz bubbling George decided to move forward with his official debut ' HOOD MONEY CHASIN INDUSTRY PAPER' also known as 'H.M.C.I.P.' pairing his intense & gutter lyrics over exclusive nostalgic west coast beats. Working with all independent producers George built his debut LP from the ground up with drive & determination.
