Making sure you have an enjoyable live music experience, our music is danceable and our stage antics fun to watch! We make sure we have a good time so you can have a good time! Kathy Dunbar: Drums, vocals, saxophone. Her polka debut began at age 13 performing with the Jeff Walker Band. She then performed with the Jim Pekol Orchestra for several years and also appeared with the Scott Bixby Band, Gerry Goestch Band and several other WI polka bands. Other performances also included appearing with the Polka King himself, "Frankie Yankovic". For the past several years she has been a performer in the "Richie Yurkovich Band." Besides all the above, she is the star of our show with her good looks, energy, bright smile and musical talent!! Richie Yurkovich: Accordion, vocals, midi effects. Has had his own band for over 30 years, recorded 24 albums, owns his own recording studio, hosted many tours in the U.S. and abroad and has performed across the United States including more than 70 shows in Branson, MO. In 2001 he was inducted into the Ironworld Polka Hall of Fame. If Kathy is the star of our show, Karl and Scott the two book-ends, then Rich is the glue, holding things together with his accordion, bass and midi effects to give the band the sound they are known for. Karl Wallin: Banjo, guitar, vocals. He is also a co-founder of the group "Atomic Tailfins" and has performed with groups of all styles of music. His travels have taken him to Nashville where he was a regular performer on the "General Jackson", to Wisconsin Dells as a banjo player in a "Honky-tonk" act, to the Twin Cities as a summer time musician at "Valley Fair". He also entertained on a cruise ship, USO tours, played part-time in the Richie Yurkovich band, full time with a country group and still finds some time for the "Grandview Orchestra", and a local blue-grass group plus time in the recording studio. Scott Benson: Guitar, drums, banjo, vocals. He has a versatile music background having played and recorded with several polka bands including Richie Yurkovich and also the Frankie Bucar and Ray Ahlgren bands from Minnesota. He is a member of the popular Marshfield, WI based group "Whoz Playing" and was a founding member of the local 50's-60's group, the "Atomic Tailfins". Scott also worked as a drummer-vocalist with Eau Claire based groups "Redwing" and country-rock act, "The Marshall' Star Band". Most recently he has done studio recording for the "Mike McIntyre Band" and is a co-founder of the 50's tribute show group, "Sha Na Now."
