Live It Up
Hello, We've approached the release of the debut album from Pmf by trying to create demand and identify target markets long before any consideration of distribution thereby creating target markets that are based in reality rather than the usual 'best case' lists. We tested the entire album nationally on college radio for eight weeks starting in the first quarter of 2003 resulting in 109 adds across the country. Using those same results, the single 'Wasted Time' was selected and a commercial program was started (currently in it's 15th week). The commercial program has been extremely positive with consistent adds and increasing spins from previously locked in stations. As you'll see in the radio report included, there are several stations covering major population centers and in fact our most enthusiastic (product give away requests, very positive feedback) station covers a population of over 500,000. Thanks for your time in advance, Chuck Manning The college radio test marketing for Live It Up shows the strength of the product with chart positions ranging from #1 in Pennsylvania, #6 in Utah, #4 in South Carolina and numerous other top twenty spots from across the country. This laid the foundation for the current (15 weeks old as of June 27, 2003) commercial/AAA radio marketing push that has so far netted strong spin totals from major and secondary commercial stations across the country (see radio report / target market sheet). With a combination of one of the best live productions on the road today and a constant performance schedule, Pmf has become one of the most sought after live bands in the southeast region. Pre-release sales at these venues have been very strong. 'I have to wade through a lot of garbage in this business, but when you get turned on to a group like Pmf you feel like you've struck gold.' Paul Hammett, DO/K-ROCK, Santa Fe, New Mexico 'This band rocks and this album rocks. Great job!' 'Brett the Hippie', WXNR 99 X Drawing from as many influences as regions represented by the musicians in Pmf, their debut album entitled Live It Up reflects a fresh mix of 'purest' rock with a combination of fresh influences. Four veteran musicians have come together from the east and west coast to produce a truly outstanding selection of contemporary rock with deep roots in the rock and roll tradition.
