Forever's a Moment in Your Eyes
Phil Hanna I was born in Northern Michigan in 1941 and moved to California at the age of twelve. I retired from a local county fire department after spending 33 years as a fire fighter, playing music part time during these years. Since retiring I have devoted myself full time to a career in country music. I have also become a country line and couples dance instructor, teaching in local clubs. I've the great experience of playing at Buck Owens Crystal Palace in Bakersfield Ca. One week a month for two years. While there I was fortunate to meet some of the great stars that appeared there as well as the opportunity to play for audiences that came from all over the world to see Buck Owens & The Crystal Palace. It was a great experience. I have also opened shows for Neal McCoy, Merle Haggard, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, Rhett Akins, and John Conley. During my time in Bakersfield I became friends with internationally known singer/song writer Red Simpson and I am proud to have two previously unreleased songs written by Red on my debut CD. Internationally known musicians and song writers Don & Annie Kidwell are singing harmony on some of the tracks as well. I am currently involved in doing DJ work on WHP/TKO/PalTalk internet radio. I have also completed my second CD and am now working on a Buddy Holly Tribute CD. I am pleased that my music is being played in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Denmark, Belguim and Sweden.
