Pete Lashley sings & plays 'It All Comes Round', a classic diversity of folk, traditional, blues, opera & orchestral music. Since putting down roots in South Cumbria Pete Lashley has become one of the foremost performers at music venues throughout the English Lake District. This is one of Britain's prime tourist regions offering a whole range of attractions in a magnificent landscape. Not surprisingly, the Lake District has proved to be an immense influence on Pete both as a performing artist and as a songwriter, much of his music reflecting the beauty and splendour as well as the calming serenity of the surroundings in which he lives and works. Pete's own tastes in music are wide ranging and embrace not only the popular hits of each changing decade but also folk, jazz, blues and much from the classical repertoire. This album 'It All Comes Round' is the sixth which Pete has produced over the last 7 years. It is somewhat different to the previous five in so far as they are almost entirely made up of his own compositions whereas this one is intended as a representation, and in some cases a very personal interpretation, of music from a wide range of styles and periods which Pete enjoys and continues to explore. The title track, the only one of Pete's own songs on the album, aptly describes a seven year period in which 'It All Comes Round' - a metaphor which can be applied to music and life.
