Stir the Menagerie
Paul Vincent Gandolfi is a gifted singer/songwriter whose musical journey has taken him to all ends of the musical spectrum and back again. He has fronted the rock bands' Devereaux and Banned, written film scores, a musical, an operetta, and somehow always returns and delivers intimate portraits in his solo efforts. Paul's fourth full length studio album, "Stir The Menagerie" follows his last offering, the critical gem "Lifesketch" with engaging melodies and the breathtaking wordsmithy lyrics he has become known for. From the warm simplicity of "Bleed" to a stirring cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Paul brushes the canvas with insight and desperately honest pieces. Teaming again with his faithful percussionist J. Thaddeus Moore, PVG delivers; again, and again. If he's not writing or performing, you can find him enjoying a fine scotch in a bar near you -.
