Introducing Pat Barbrie. This, her debut CD, has been some time in the making, but we think you'll agree...worth the wait. Singing since her wee childhood days, Pat's voice is strong, clear and bright. This along with a terrific sense of harmony and pitch. The overall musical flavour presented here is best described as melancholy pop, but with an odd twist. The up-tempo numbers are sad tinged, while the mid-tempos show a sunnier disposition. Featured tracks include the desolate beat of 'For Anyone', the tribute to a child's love in 'Song For Adrian', the weary yet somehow humourous lamentations contained within 'Love Song b) One Move', and the catchy groove and refrain of 'Every Now And Again'. It's all about conflicting emotions portrayed with a clarity of vision and character.
