Paradame (born Brenna Phinney) is the creator of a future sound. She is a musician, artist, and dancer who owns her style, and delivers it with unmistakable skill. Her music is defined by it's rhythmic cadence and clever songwriting, backed by a hauntingly beautiful voice. It is a sound often laced with darkness, yet that wields a message of light. Rising out of Seattle, Paradame's energy is altering the collective consciousness of all people, with freshness. Paradame has had an interest in singing and dancing her whole life. Much of her creative ability began to brew and surface, during her time studying philosophy in northern Washington. Moving to Seattle soon thereafter, she started writing and performing original songs, while working as a freelance portrait illustrator, and showroom specialist for an art wholesaler. Drawing from various influences, she began to conceive what would become her own style- a hip hop rooted sound with an electronic feel, infused with elements of reggae, soul, and traces of punk rock. In 2007 she was signed to AudioDose Records, and began writing hooks and verses with various hip hop artists, while performing live at Seattle nightclubs and venues. She has since featured on several recording projects, collaborating and featuring with many artists, including Active I, J.Lee, Unlimited MC, Auraswon, Indijinis, Sicksteen, Reptyle, MC Faust, Smarty McSly, Dizzle Morrison, and Top Left. In 2008 she began working at Ground Zero, a recording studio in south Seattle. She quickly became the managing director for Space- a private venue located within Ground Zero, which has hosted countless events with hundreds of local and international DJs, emcees, artists, and performers. All while further engulfing herself in the world of music and art, she has spent the last 2 years perfecting her craft, and has been constructing her solo career as a recording artist and performer.
