Don't Say I'm a Liar
'Paolo Ganz is one of the first well-known maestros of Harmonica Blues music in Italy. Born in Venice in 1957, he was first introduced to the Blues in the early 80s, and subsequently dedicated himself to the harmonica and to singing. During his early formative years, he participated in various concerts, festivals, recordings, and television shows in which he developed his own unique style: simple, direct, and passionate, seen clearly as a style which derived from the Black icons of Blues, Jazz and early Rock & Roll. Along with his Marine Band, he has performed not just all over Italy, but also in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Holland and Ireland. Paolo has also played in various successful soundtracks and has had the possibility to reach most of his musical dreams. Made possible by the Edizioni Be'rben di Ancona, he has published in the 80s the first method for Harmonica Blues, never seen in Italy before this time, and is still sold today. This publication gained an immediate and appreciable success, and due to this, five other instructional volumes were subsequently published. It is safe to say that a good number of the new generation of harmonicists have made their first musical steps thanks to the guidance and teachings of Paolo.'
