Lost Out in the Abyss
Orcha is a Milwaukee born Jam/World/Rock band that continually stuns their audience with the high energy of their live performances. Orcha has played to large crowds at many Milwaukee establishments and will be amping up their show schedule in support of the release of their upcoming debut CD entitled Lost out in the Abyss (2009). In Winter 2009, Orcha will be releasing their first self-produced album entitled Lost out in the Abyss. The album is a wondrous collection of sounds vividly aimed at giving the listener consciousness of music as a level of communication and sincerity. In choosing a facility for recording Orcha's Lost out in the Abyss, the group decided to work in one of Milwaukee's Finest Recording Facilities, Tanner & Monagle. Located in the heart of the Blatz Building Downtown, T&M features include the sonic characteristics of Historic Milwaukee Cream City Brick, which not only adds to the dimensional presence of the album's recording space, it adds much to the authenticity of the sound, labeling it "Pure Milwaukee". Orcha is in gratitude of Aaron Dahlberg for professionally engineering the recording of the album. In mastering the album, Orcha decided to visit neighboring windy city's Chicago Mastering Service. Mastering Engineers Jason Ward and Bob Weston helped to encapsulate the sound to the group's specific sonority. From the live sound of each performance take, to the specific direction of complex sonic spectrum, Lost out in the Abyss is sure to capture the hearts and minds of listeners. As live performance is concerned, the members of Orcha are musicians that pride themselves in the nature of their art. Each song weaves a tale that takes the listening on a journey of a higher nature. Orcha plays many many originals, while incorporating numerous covers in each set-list to highlight their musicial inspirations, and to also appease the needs of their high energy fanbase.
