Dawn of a New Era
Just as the sun welcomes a new day, the music industry has rolled out the red carpet to a Nu Era. Thus, DC bred quintet of biological brothers has burst onto the music scene like a breath of fresh air. In the tradition of the Temptations, Jackson 5, and New Edition, Nu Era combines profound vocals, well-crafted choreography and dazzling showmanship to create a new image and sound for the next generation of musical fans. However, it was their father who initially introduced them to music; today, he continues tobe aninspiration to his sons. These 5 brothers, Isaac, Solomon, Samuel, Jacob and Jeremy Marsh, have electrified audiences up and down the East Coast since performing in a Baltimore talent show in 1999. Their stunning blend of Motown classics of yesterday combined with today's R&B, make Nu Era favorite among both the young and older audiences. Nu Era has had the unique pleasure of sharing the stage with such Legends as The Whispers, Jerry Butler, The O'Jays, Pattie LaBelle, The Delfonics, The Stylistics, The Dramatics, and The Orioles. And has opened for Gerald Levert, Charlie Wilson, Melissa Morgan, and Keith Sweat. As well as, Ruben Studdard, Public Enemy, K-Ci and JoJo and of course New Edition, and a host of Legends. They have performed consecutives years for former Washington Redskins Charles Mann and Art Monk's Good Samaritan Foundation, Howard University Employee Appreciation Day and Unifest (an annual celebration given by Union Temple Baptist Church). These amazing brothers have made their mark by initiating a 'Stop the Violence' School Tour in Washington,DC and Baltimore, MD with Trilogy ( their 3 older brothers), and Radio One.
