Into My Life
Norman Alicdan was born in Florida but raised in the Philippines. He learned to play guitar from his sister who showed him a few chords. He started playing guitar with his cousin, and they both became proficient while performing in front of friends. As they grabbed attention, they decided to form a band and added three members. It began as a band in the Philippines named 'Blue Colt Band,' a rock band playing music from the '60s and '70s. They became popular as they played different gigs in their local town including multi-band concerts held in his elementary school that he attended. The band broke up in 1983 due to a military call in the US Air Force. While in service, Alicdan began writing songs and joined contests where he won best vocalist in Soesterberg AB singing his own original composition 'See You Home Tonight.' He performed in dinner lounges singing folk songs while stationed in Japan for five years. He started home recording with his first Yamaha keyboard and music recording equipment. Today, Alicdan continues to write songs, sharing his accomplished music with all people who love God. Welcome to the relaxing journey of wonder from Norman Alicdan, 'Into My Life.'
