A few years ago i used to go to a lot of industrial clubs. Piranha Room in particular stands out as a great club with great industrial Played so loud it hurt. Fake smoke, camouflage netting, black lights, the whole bit. This CD was like a flash Back to those days. Nerve Job captures some of the best qualities of those bands. The Volcals have the cool intensity of early Nitzer Ebb. All the danceability of Front 242. But what I found really refreshing was the frank and unapologetic honesty of their lyrics. They shine a brutally bright light on the darker side of human nature. From the money hungry preacher of'101 Damnations' to the abused wife who kills her husband with a butchers knife ('A Stab For Every Night'). It's no holds barred. Find this CD and buy it. If you get a chance to see them,do it before they get to big.
