Twist of My Soul
Nazty Habit was started in 2006 by Darren Naz. Original members were D. Naz, Shawn Hardy, Pete Vetechnik, and Steve 'flash' Gordon. Shortly after formation Pete left the band and Nazty Habit Played their first gig as a 3 piece with Darren handling vocal duties, George Connery got up on stage with Nazty Habit and sung a cover of AC/DC's 'Shook Me All Night Long' and shortly thereafter became the vocalist, until June 2008 when he left the band. In July Pete returned to the band and while performing at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival, the sound man Eric Munoz Liked the band so much he offered to record a CD in his studio on a 'pro bono' contract, so the first CD was recorded at 'All In' studio in late 2008 and released in 2009. Steve left the band during the recording of the first CD so there were 3 Bass players on the CD and Brett Gunn was chosen to take over bass duties. Nazty Habit competed and won the Gorilla Productions 'Battle of the Bands' at the Outer Rim in February of 2009 and went on to win the finals at the 'Avalon' in May of 2009, Pete left the band in June (2009) and other Vocalists were considered but the band felt that Darren's voice fit the music and the band entered 'Noisebox Studios' as a three piece to record the second CD 'Twist Of My Soul' in January 2010. Between recording, editing, mixing, and mastering over 210 hours were spent......we hope you like it!
