'Nate Bernardini and the Bellevegas Band' consists of three members: Himself, his brother, Paul Bernardini, and good friend, Bobby Jones. Nate has been playing harmonica for 16 years and guitar for the past 6. He joined forces with his brother in 2001 as an acoustic duo and released their first acoustic CD titled 'Inside the Mind of Nate Bernardini.' After realizing another element would add a lot to the sound, Nate and Paul started playing with Bobby when he spontaneously showed up to an acoustic show asking to play the bongos with them. Soon after it became awkward to call themselves "Nate Bernardini" so they added the title, "and the Bellevegas Band." The word 'Bellevegas' was developed in their hometown, Belleville, IL to give locals a nice way of looking at their slightly mundane town. Bobby is a very experienced musician who has been playing since grade school. Paul plays as a solo guitarist in a jazz band and recently won state for his workmanship. Nate, being the visionary of their sound, writes thought-provoking lyrics to complement the joyful music. Some major influences include Jack Johnson, Keller Williams, and Bob Dylan.
