In Tune: Music for Relaxation & Inner Harmony
Natalie Lovejoy is a composer/performer currently living in New York City. Performances of her musicals include: 'Better Than Sex' (Catholic University), "Performance Anxiety" (Raw Impressions Musical Theater Marathon), original songs for The Johnny Mercer Songwriters' Workshop at Northwestern University's; and selections from 'Deployed' (NYU's First Stages, CUA's New Voices Concert, The Golden Fleece's Stage One Series). Other original musicals include 'The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg' (with lyricist Donald Connolly) and 'The Canyon Ride' (with bookwriter Kelvin Moon Loh). Performances of her concert works include: choral works 'Magnum Mysterium,' 'The Lord is My Shepard' (commissioned by St. Mark's United Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas) and 'Bass, Interupted,' for double bass (NYU's Mix Nouveau Concert). She has also composed for piano, string, and brass instruments. Natalie has studied songwriting under Craig Carnelia, Amanda McBroom, Lari White, and Andrew Lippa as a part of The American Music Theater Project, and with composer/lyricist Steven Rosenhaus. Natalie is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. She has a Bachelor of Music from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Music from New York University. She works as a freelance musician and music teacher.
