Le Grande Fromage
Nasher has been performing and recording as a solo artist in the UK since 1998. Following the break-up of Frankie Goes To Hollywood in 1987 Nasher embarked on several band projects as a guitarist and songwriter. In 1997 he decided to take the plunge and step up to the microphone and take centre stage. His first solo effort \'Ripe\' was released in 1999. Critics said \'Excellence of melody, upbeat and memorable\' - Get Rhythm \'Undeniably something of Mersey Pop\'s shrewd, sweet template in these undemanding but listenable tracks\' - Q. \'From soulful pop to the verge of prog rock, this is thoughtful stuff\' - Mojo. \'Ripe\' was followed in 2003 by the release of \'Le Grande Fromage\' which featured the track \'In Bloom\', a duet with British soul legend Sam Brown. The opening track \'Top Of The Pops Again\' is a lively sing along that has become a favourite during live performances. One critic described this follow-up as \'Superbly melodic and lyrically sparkling\' - Liverpool Echo. Late 2008 will see the release of the third solo album \'A Lo Minimo\' along with a live studio ep called \'The Last Rites\'. Nasher is currently in the process of recording his fourth album \'4 On The Floor\' due for release in 2009.
