Music of County Switch Live at the Louisiana Hayri
County Switch emerged as a Northwest Louisiana bluegrass group in the mid 1980's, and appeared on the Louisiana Hayride, at the Natchitoches Folk Festival as well as festivals in and around the Northwest Ark-La-Tex area. The members of County Switch are as follows: Gary Buchanan - vocals, bass, harmonica and prominent song writer for the band. William Norton - vocals, banjo, and hammered dulcimer. Ron Cosby - vocals, dobro, rhythm and lead acoustic guitars. John Peck - vocals, fiddle, mandolin and writer of some instrumentals for the band. The main driving force behind County Switch is the love of bluegrass music, but also injecting their own ideas to keep the bluegrass music evolving in a hard driving progressive fashion. We hope you enjoy listening and Bluegrass Rules.
