Sky Is Falling
Mr 'J', a Mississippi born, sophisticated, soulful gent started writing poetry and composing songs in the late 1950's and later learned to accompany himself on the keyboard. His inspiration comes from some of the greats, such as Joe Williams, Nat Cole, Sam Cooke, Lou Rauls and Walter Jackson. Mr. 'J' has a repertoire ranging from gospel music to blues to show tunes and jazz ballads. He's called Mr.'J' This is the adulation conveyed for this performer whose smooth, mellow, enchanting baritone voice caresses the ears of the listener and makes you feel like 'everything is gonna be alright.' The distinctive ballad singer has been heard for years locally around the Chicagoland area and have always performed with the 'best' musicians. When writing 'The Sky Is Falling' we felt it was the right message and the right time.
