Life is about faith, family, friendship, love, trust, facing challenges head on and about lessons learned and most of all about entrusting it all to the God that knows it all and cares about every detail and yet, we live in a world where families fall apart, friendships are lost as fast as they are made, where it is all about the quickest, easiest means to the desired end, where dreams end in ultimate dissatisfaction and disillusionment, where God is taboo. 'Turn Green' is about becoming like a tree that has been planted by an ancient flowing river, deep rooted, strong and evergreen in the middle of a dry desert. It is about growing, looking up and moving forward, being unshakable and standing firm on an timeless hope and about finding everything you've ever dreamed of in the last place you would look, in God. Monisha writes from life and every song on this album tells a story of a moment in time, some good and some not so good. 'I Remember' was written through the eyes of a young girl struggling to find her place in a strange, alien world and others like 'Drowning' through tears of deep tragedy. 'With You' brings with it a hope that we can find true purpose when we are moved by the invisible hands of our Creator. 'I Dream' was the result of an encounter with this Creator and of an experience of indescribable joy in His presence. 'Turn Green' is truly a chronicle of the continuing journey of an average 21st century young woman and of the God who changes her world forever not by a distant wave of a hand but by stepping into her life, taking a hold of her heart and wrapping her in His embrace.
