Missing Score is a Post-Hardcore/Indie/Hard Rock band based out of Chicago that formed in spring of 2004. Mike LaGigilo (guitar) and Jason Segal (bass) met Kyle Brown at a Mars Volta concert, and when Mike's eyes met Kyle's for the first time, he asked 'Would you like to be our vocalist?' Kyle replied, 'I don't know what the hell I'm doing but YES.' And it was a match made in heaven. Kyle joined Mike and Jason along with fellow member Byron Jones (guitar) for a show in May of 2004 when the band changed names from Spectral Fire to Missing Score. Sadly the drummer had to move back to Alaska, but Kyle introduced Brandon Ciarlo to the band who quickly took up the role of drummer. Missing Score was now formed. After writing and cultivating their original hard rock style, they recorded a demo in the summer of 2004 and played a couple shows. After passing out this five song demo to all who would take it, Missing Score realized they could do much better and decided to head into the studio with some new songs and a plan to share it with anyone and everyone. Missing Score recorded their seven song debut EP SPACE FOUND! In February of 2005 which was released in May 2005. Five things you will learn about these individuals when watching them rock live: Kyle enjoys humping things, Mike hates the ground, Byron loves his work, Jason feels the groove, and Brandon can never stop rocking. Their music reflects the diversity and originality of each member. These five young men plan on ravaging the Chicago music scene with their creativity and energetic live rock shows, inspired lyrics, and hard rock music.
