Receiving Torah: Experiential Journery MT Sinai
Mendel Weinberger is a writer, poet, and musician who has lived in Jerusalem for the past 25 years. Before moving to Israel he lived in New York, St. Louis, and Boston, Massachusetts where he studied English literature, Zen Meditation, and journalism. In 1982 he found himself as a Jew and made the commitment to live a Torah inspired life. His work has been published in Horizon Magazine, Yeted Ne'eman, and Jewishmag.com online magazine. This CD, Receiving the Torah, is the result of extensive research into what actually happened at Mt. Sinai. What is unique about this disk is that it leads the listener to experience that revelation in a very personal way via his or her imagination. That experience resonates with the collective memory of the Jewish People and creates a connection that inside the mind of the person much deeper than reading about it as history.
