May-June 2010 21 / Various
The FuMP Volume 21 features all of the funny songs posted during May and June of 2010 to TheFuMP.com, including 'Black Water (BP Version)' by Steve Goodie, 'Lost Without Lost' by Power Salad, and 'I Hate Mondays' by Devo Spice. The FuMP quite simply is The Funny Music Project. We just thought The FuMP had a nice ring to it. Like the ringing a boxer hears after he's been hit in the head one too many times. The FuMP is a collaborative effort made up of a core group of comedy musicians. These are Possible Oscar, Raymond and Scum, Rob Balder, Devo Spice, the great Luke Ski, Tom Smith, Worm Quartet and Robert Lund. These artists have committed to releasing new or unl released recordings of their music to the public under a Creative Commons license. This means we promise not to be upset when a video of you lip synching to our song in your underwear appears on YouTube. In addition to the core members there are several additional auxiliary members who will also be contributing songs to the project here and there. These include Steve Goodie, Lemon Demon, Power Salad, and Morning Sidekick. New songs are posted every Tuesday and Friday. These songs are available as a free download (128k MP3) from the home page. Then every two months a FuMP compilation CD is released featuring the songs of the previous two months. Volume 21 features a video interview with Devo Spice and The Great Luke Ski about the FuMP's new accompanying podcast The Funny Music Podcast.
