On this album we hear a selection of music composed by Ricardo 'Zanate' Rodríguez, rendered elegantly by mexican soprano Mary Carmen Camarena and the composer himself at the piano. It includes a re-interpretation of Gabriel Faure's requiem's 'Liberame Domine' . Pieces are performed in Latin and Spanish. Soprano Mary Camarena has notably taken part in bands and ensambles that cover many vocal styles and different languajes, as featured in recordings made with early music ensamble Siglos Pasados, experimental world music band Radaid, sacred music progressive music rock fusion band Zanate y Asociados and Cuarteto Nausicaa, which performs cover versions of anime music. Ricardo 'Zanate' Rodríguez has four other sacred music fusion albums to account for his fifteen year career on the mexican music scene.
