Marc Sherman Plays Favorites
Marc Sherman began picking out tunes at age 4, started piano lessons at age nine, and by the end of high school decided to make music his career. Marc entered Temple University's College of Music as a Piano/Voice Major. To help pay his tuition, he played organ in a trio, performing in area restaurants. He graduated first in his class in 1969 with a Degree in Music Education. Marc continued playing keyboards and piano in restaurants and for private parties, developing a unique pianistic style which incorporated his years of classical training. His well-trained ear has enabled him to commit thousands of songs to memory. Reviews: Frank and Mary Jelinek Radio hosts on WWDB Radio, 96.5 FM, Philadelphia, PA 'We just finished playing your tape and it was wonderful!' Jim Laurie, Professional Pianist 'Nobody will ever ask you what you did with the money (the money your mother gave you for piano lessons). You really make (some) hohum tunes into major works of art.'
