Lyn Jackson is an outstanding R&B and Pop vocalist. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she currently resides in Arizona. Lyn began her career as lead singer of the "Sequins" at the age of fourteen. The group's song 'Hey Romeo' was a Top 40 hit on the Billboard R&B charts. Lyn and the group went on a national tour performing at many major venues. Audiences are captivated by Lyn's smooth and sultry voice, and her compelling stage presence. Her vocal style resembles such artists as Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston and Nora Jones. In 2009 Lyn, who is also an accomplished studio singer and songwriter, recorded a brand-new contemporary arrangement of the Dinah Washington classic, 'Dream'. Lyn has been busy doing numerous performances around the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. She had an extended run at Casino Arizona at Salt River from 2008 to early 2009. Lyn's version of "Dream" was heard on several radio stations around the country, including a months-long rotation on WGCR.US "The Boss Ross Smooth Jazz Show."
