'Country Diamonds' is outstanding proof of Lyn Cantrelle's versatility. You may have already enjoyed the love songs on her first CD, 'Red Satin,' and the big band sounds on 'Satin Dreams.' Now she turns her incredible talent to country music. Lyn comes by her talent honestly. Both sides of Lyn's family are crowded with musicians. Her maternal grandmother, Anna Lee Ledet Richard, won many metals playing the piano and organ. Her paternal grand father, Elmore 'Bill' Thibodaux, often played his banjo with local bands. His banjo is still a prized family possession. Lyn's father, Lawrence, played amazing guitar without ever having any formal training. While growing up Lyn and her family spent many Friday and Saturday nights having 'family music sessions.' Once again, Lyn's heritage shines through as she puts her heart and soul into every note in each song. Along with her amazing vocal talent, Lyn has turned to writing music. This CD debut's her first, 'I Too Love You.' Look for more original songs on future CDs.
