Long Long Lullabies were designed to do one thing; to help a restless baby go to sleep. They are the creation of a husband/wife team- a composer and a psychotherapist. Unlike other "lullaby" collections (which are song compilations with lots of stopping and starting) each of the Long Long Lullabies is a single hour-long musical/ambient soundscape. Glittering, sparkling textures spin a distracting web of fascination as the music begins... eventually, a beautiful melody is introduced... The transition to slower, richer, soothing accompaniment is so slow as to be imperceptible... The sleeping child is quietly cocooned in sound as the music gradually recedes into a soft bed of natural ambience. This is music which does not condescend to your child, and it makes no attempt to be cute. The textures are rich and organic, and the melodies are evocative and timeless. Music does not have to drive parents crazy in order to appeal to children, and this music intends to bring peace to the parent as it brings sleep to the child. Falling asleep is a passage from one condition to another. Long Long Lullabies provide a soundtrack to accompany your baby on the journey from restlessness into a safe, secure and comforting world of dreams.
