Dances a Lot
'Lenny Paquette has the incredible voice and talent to make it in Country, R & B, or Pop.' - Gene Pitney (aka 'The Rockville Rocket who, besides a sterling recording career, also wrote 'Hello Mary Lou' for Ricky Nelson.) 'Ironically, I met Gene two years before he died. A tough music critic, he gave me a thumbs up and mt music compared to many other nascent artists. The most ironic thing was when I used to take voice lessons in Waterbury, CT with Joseph Lizotte from 13 to 16, I always sang many of Gene Pitney's hit songs,i.e., 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart' - Lenny Paquette 'I've been told to write a few words for this CD liner about the life and times of Lenny Paquette. The first time I met Lenny was at a songwriter's meeting where he was excited about writing country tunes and recording in Nashville, TN at Jay's Place on Music Row. Lenny talked about his singing in country bands and sit-in stints with 'The Temptations'. I must admit he captured me with his little conversational vignettes. Still, being a bit of a cynic, I took some of his stories with a grain of salt. When his first demo tape arrived in the mail, I realized that there was something special about this guy. It wasn't just the songs but the way he delivered the message. Lenny had soul and presented country music with a new twist and vision. It wasn't until I saw the pictures on his wall singing with 'The Temptations' that I became a true believer. Two long years later, we have Lenny's debut CD. From Nashville pickers to Grammy Award winners, we've assembled some of the best in the music business to play and produce this CD.' - Wayne Gamache 1997 (Mansion Road Music) (203) 265-6518 If you're gonna have a 'Backyard Boogie' this summer, send us an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Hello fans and welcome to Dances A Lot. This album was brought around the world for Dept of Defense Shows. Also, 'Backyard Boogie' was a 'Honky Tonk Pick of the Month' on radio in Belgium and the most played Country song for one month in Vienna, Austria. Bringing love and entertainment, while performing until he is exhausted, Lenny will also be a music producer and director for an upcoming Fox TV show. The song, 'She Dances A Lot' appeared on ABC TV's 'All My Children' in 2000 and 2007. The ladies love it and the men like watching them dance to it. There is also a line dance for the She Dances A Lot, and others, by the reknowned Lynne Flanders. Backyard Boogie also has a line dance by the ever-creative and multi-talented Jamie Davis Marshall (she also choreographed for the Back Street Boys). 'Remember, 'Music never fades, it's in the Soul.' I will never forget my time with 'The Temptations' and singing with Sam Moore in Nashville (Sam and Dave 'Soul Man'. I want to bring that energy to your party, your ride, and your friends. To my great fans I bid you thanks for your love of my music all these years.' - Lenny Paquette Managed by Joe Chillari c (646) 773-6038.
