Humble a Journey of Life Loss & Love
Follow Laura Seidelmann on her musical journey to become a mother on Humble: A Journey of Life, Loss, and Love. She has had much heartbreak, with the loss of her father and three miscarriages. Throughout such sorrow, she continued believing that God would bless her with a baby. It wasn't an easy journey, and was filled with many questions, but God was faithful to His promise, and Laura's daughter, Olivia Joy, was born July 27, 2010. Laura has been compared to Sara Groves and Sarah McLachlan. She is a piano teacher, and infuses her piano background into every song. 'The One' is a fun jazzy love song in the style of Norah Jones. 'Break Me' is an introspective song about being a non-confrontational person, and in turn makes the person feel like her feelings don't matter. 'God Brought You' was written for her wedding. If you are looking for the perfect Christian wedding duet, look no further! 'Daddy's Little Girl' is for all those girls out there who are proud to be 'Daddy's Girl' forever! 'Angel Baby' is dedicated to Laura's first loss, Lucy Seidelmann. Miscarriage is very traumatic, and not many women seem to talk about it. Laura is very open with her experiences of miscarriage and infertility, and wants to be a hope and help to other women on a similar journey. 'Carry Me' is Laura's version of the Footprints poem. When she felt that she couldn't go through another trial, God carried her through. 'One Stocking' is dedicated to Laura's father, Robert, who passed away in August 2006. It's about the first Christmas she had without him, but also talks about his first Christmas in Heaven. You can contact Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org.
