Love Songs to the Master/ a Trilogy
Kym Abayomi was born on the island of Barbados, having left there as a child for the United States she spent the majority of her life Growing up on the island of Manhattan in New York City. Kym found Christ at the age of 16 and then again 16 years later in the same church called Refuge Temple in Harlem New York. Her dramatic rededication to the Lord came after a series of events that have formed her powerful testimony which she uses to minister to women and men who are seeking an intimate and authentic relationship with God. Her Testimony tells of God's supernatural power in her life that pulled her out of the occult, healed her heart and placed her in the purpose that God ordained for her. Her gifts speak to those broken emotionally and those who are seeking ways to apply the practical wisdom of God to their lives. Her ministry reaches all people even though her experiences inspire and motivate women. Kym now lives with her husband and their children in The Caribbean, West Africa, South Africa and The United States, her music reflects the different sounds of these countries merged with a classical and clean sound. Love songs To the Master is a Trilogy a collection of three songs that reflect the different stages in our walk with Christ as well as three women in the bible. " "Jesus I'm Sorry" reflects the beginning stages of our walk as a new Christian the "Toddler stage", this is an exciting place where we are just meeting Jesus and finding our purpose in him just as the woman at the well did. "Everything" speaks to the more focused stage in our walk with Christ. At this stage we are willing to give Jesus everything, we invest our money our time we are sold out, just as Mary of Bethany was when she anointed Christ with fragrant oil and dried his feet with her hair. "Adonai" which means Master represents the stage of total obedience when God truly becomes our master, just as he was to Mary the mother of Jesus. Kym Ministers in song and shares her message about these three stages, her mission is to help others form solid and authentic relationships with Christ built on transparency, trust and the attitude of how can I serve my God as apposed to how can God serve me. Creating an on Line ministry for women who may be anonymously seeking Godly council is another way Kym ministers to those who may be broken but would like to remain anonymous until they are strong enough to face others. "Womanarise@gmail.com" is the place where women will find compassion as well as God's truth and wisdom. You can reach Kym at the e-mail address mentioned above or at Kymabayomi@yahoo.com.
