This is my first album it was written in memory of my nannie, whom i talk more about in my biography. This album features only piano, as it was her favorite instrument. The song title, 'Unforgotten,' was the first song i ever wrote and it defines the mood and feeling of the album. The album was written in her memory, but this song was specifically dedicated to her, and in a way this song is separate from the other pieces. This song captures and embodies my emotions more so then any of the other pieces and it truly captivates and stimulates the memories I have of her life. The album in general takes on a very atmospheric sound. With the intentions to calm the body and to move and stimulate the mind, thus giving birth to it's title, The Movement. This album is written and played in a jazz/fusion, jazz/blues style, with some of the more fast passed bluesy pieces being, 'Moving with the Times,' 'Sharpe,' and 'Let it Flow.'
