Kingsville is the original music of two Melbourne friends, Juliarna Cleal (vocals) and Rebecca Harris-Mason (piano and vocals). Some of these songs were 'born' in the early 90s whilst they were young, carefree and studying music together. Some were crafted in the last year after the blessings of social media enabled a catchup and rekindling of a great friendship. Joining on them on the album are some scintillating Australian musicians- Johnathon Zion (bass), Karl Lewis (drums), Hugh McDonald (guitar), and Jennifer Dixon and Marcus Holden (strings). Foreword from Kingsville's inaugural album, Vintage Tales. Once upon a time there were two ordinary girls. They did ordinary things in their ordinary lives and were very, very happy....because ordinary people can feel extraordinary things. They feel passionate. They have good love stories, experience tragic breakups, feel empathetic with their friends, get outraged, occasionally grieve and frequently laugh 'til their sides hurt. These songs are the universal vintage tales or ordinary lives. God Bless all the wonderful ordinary people. The end.
