More Than a Season
Kim and Brian Tabor grew up surrounded by music. Whether singing in high school musicals, performing in bands or worshiping through their home churches, God used these experiences to draw each of them closer to Him, develop their skills, and grow their love for music. God eventually led them from their hometowns (Brian from Evansville, Ind., and Kim from Cleveland, Ohio) to enroll as students at Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., and it was here where they would meet while studying and performing in a variety of student music groups. After graduating with music degrees, Brian and Kim were married and began their lives together. As Kim developed her singing and performing-working with such names as Sandi Patty and Bill Gaither, Brian became nationally recognized as a leading Minister of Worship through experiences in large church settings and in many conferences and conventions. These opportunities and God's direction led Brian and Kim to full time concert ministry in 2001. 'Music and worship are powerful tools that can be used to open hearts to the message of the Gospel,' said Brian. 'The heart of our ministry is to use these tools to share God's love with people everywhere. We believe that God is passionate about people and their need for fellowship with Him and we have committed our lives and ministry to this purpose.' 'We have seen God work in our lives and in the lives of persons we have met as we have traveled the country,' said Kim. 'We know that God uses worship to connect with His people. Brian and I are humbled that He has used us to help guide these special moments and experiences.' Along with traveling the nation ministering in many denominations and in such renowned venues as the Crystal Cathedral, Brian and Kim Tabor have worked with some of the best studio musicians in the industry to record 'I Open My Heart' and 'It's Time.' In addition, they recorded the 2006 Christmas project 'More Than a Season' that includes timeless favorites like 'Mary Did You Know,' 'Oh Holy Night,' and 'Go Tell It On The Mountain.' Kim and Brian have just completed two brand new recordings entitled 'The One' and 'Finally Free: Stories of Hope and Inspiration.' 'The One' contains popular worship favorites such as 'How Great Is Our God' and 'Alive Forever Amen' as well as 4 new original songs written and performed by Brian and Kim. 'Finally Free: Stories of Hope and Inspiration' is designed as a women's devotional. The album shares the stories of seven women in their own voices. These stories are masterfully paired with scripture and music into a meaningful devotional experience. Kim and Brian Tabor have a servant's heart for sharing the message of the Gospel through music. God has shaped them for music and for worship. And while they give their talents through a wide variety of musical settings, they continue to listen to God's voice leading worship and communicating God's love around the country through their own unique gifts.
