Keith Tan is the Music Minister and Worship Leader at Christ Church Episcopal in Richmond, Virginia. He established numerous worship bands, choirs, chamber orchestra, and produced four albums with Christ Church musicians. As pianist and singer/songwriter, he recorded and produced his debut solo album 'Inscribe' in 2003, and performed at numerous churches and concert venues. Keith's love for a wide range of music genres and his versatility is evident in this inspiring album, 'Something Real.' This sophomore album has had a long gestation, with songs written in 2001, all the way to songs written in this release year. In many ways, it contains some of the best songs that Keith has written over these years. The involvement of music friends has brought an added dimension and texture to this album. They are Lara Tan (Keith's wife), co-writer of 'Stand Firm' and 'Drink of My Waters' who also duets with Keith in 'This Broken World', as well as guitarists Daniel Johannesson and Craig MacNaughton, and singers Christa Helms and Missy Jennings.
