Keith Lebo (1950-2009) Keith Lebo was born and grew up in Fairfield, CT. He played with several bands during his musical career, starting in the 1960s with Doo-Wah and the Diddys, Sunny Vance and the In Group, and Potters Field. During the 1970s, he was an integral part of Connecticut based cover band, Castle. More recently, Keith played with Shade and To the Max, before finding his way to the Center Street Band, where he played lead guitar from 2005-2009. In addition to his superb guitar skills, Keith was also an outstanding songwriter, engineer, and producer in his own right and was a pioneer in internet recording collaboration. Keith never got to produce the CD he had worked so hard on. It wasn't because he didn't have enough material. It was because his sense of perfection always led him to believe that his music could be improved upon - just a little bit more. I think that my friend Keith's music is just fine the way it is. In fact, I think it's quite outstanding. And while Keith's humility wouldn't quite let him share his music with the world, Charlene and I do want the world to listen. - jy.
