Product notities

There might be a small chance that you've read the review for Kaos Krew's 2006 release 'Devour', which was written by one of our former reviewers. His final judgement was positive, but not totally over the top. Now it's the chance for both the band as well for me to see if the score will be improved with this brand new five track EP named 'GlobalFobia'. For the people waiting for some band information over here - since their official webpage doesn't contain any form of biography, it's pretty hard for me to give you some, so let's head on to the music right away. First track, "Tinnitus", low bass and guitar begins this track before diving into a loud pool with sounds and distorted vocals. The beat is steady and fun, intense without being over the top. The guitar solo is worked in beautiful followed by the synths to close out the track. The second track, "Shine", the first thing you notice in this track is the guitar booming the quite intro away accompanied by synths and dominated after by rampant drums. The guitars come out brilliantly in this track with wonderfully composed riffs with the banged drums and ever present synths playing alone to make this track easy to listen to over and over. Next track, "Arabian Shake", begins with a ominous whirl sound and low strings before be thrashed by loud guitar and growling vocals. Guitars play with synths adding to bizarre blend of the track which melts together without complication. Next track, "The Loop", this track has a very old school rock vibe to it, no vocals required the guitars take their place. Last track, "Disorder" it begins with hard guitars quieting down with synths and low vocals and shouts. The background has a very eerie feel, in some places it goes into chaos. Ending out on a quite note till silence. The album isn't a loss, the mixture of guitar with synth and drum is well made. I however found parts to be a bit on the duller side but over all a great listen, I feel with some fine toning and time they will show what they are made of.
