Justin Allen Davis is a Michigan-based musician who has re-birthed his musical spirit. Now writing stripped down acoustic songs that are inspired with a similar passion and energy, seeking the joy of music he came to love from the earlier days. Today his solo music maintains the influences of rock, while introducing the newer genres of punk and emo into theatrical song writing. Raised in a small town of Holly nestled between the now dwindling auto Mecca of Detroit and Flint Michigan, Davis was raised by loving parents who sent young Justin to piano lessons. Later he demanded on playing the guitar and his passion for music soared, later being a member and starting bands such as Flumpnole, Square One, and Calling All Heroes. In 2003 Justin was faced with his most monumental challenge, brain cancer. This resulted in many struggles with his daily life style, especially with his music and creative writing. As Justin put his new album together he realized that much of this was just for fun. Many people along with him self expect perfection. "Sometimes I don't understand myself or know what I am all about. Attempting music again, whether my music is good or bad, I am trying and doing something instead of being dead.
