Time to Move on
What results when spirit and earth collide and you are left with no other option but faith and hope? "Time to Move On" was born more out of necessity than desire. A need to live, a need to create. Julian is a musician & songwriter who was born and raised in Southern Colorado. He attended his first rock concert was when his mother was 8 months pregnant with front row seats to a sold out Rush event (this might have been his inspiration for becoming a drummer). He bought his first drum kit at 11 years old with money he earned doing jobs for friends, neighbors, and relatives; but only after he accomplished almost 2 years of piano lessons, a prerequisite from his musician father. He formally studied drums for 7 years under Art Noble. In Jr. High he decided he wanted to learn every note in every scale and sat down at the piano and memorized them all in 2 weeks. He taught himself to play the guitar at age 14 and at 15 began writing songs. His first published tune came at age 16 (a worship song for his church) and he has been published 4 times since. Julian has written over 50 songs and has performed live for thousands in hundreds of events playing bass, piano, drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, singing and even captaining a drum line for a championship marching band. After his band RedSky disbanded he recorded his first solo project between May and August of 2009. He currently attends John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR where he is majoring in Music Arts.
