Infinity Stylez of Rhyming
Jonathan Alberto Guevara, aka Jon Guevara, was born and raised in the South West side of Houston Texas (Alief), the second oldest of his 2 brothers and sister. Jon Guevara's parents were both born and raised in El Salvador, and migrated to the United States in search of a better future. With mom working 2-3 jobs daily and father working all day just to feed there family, Jon learned how to cherish the value of LIFE. As the years past, and things at home were just getting a lot harder to cope with, Jon found an "escape" from his ordinary life threw music. Threw out elementary school, Jon joined the honor roll choir and started forming his dream of becoming something in this music world. After elementary, Jon was curious to know what other aspects of music might be out there. Threw out his teen years Jon Guevara tried learning how to read musical notes, with interest in how to play the drums set. Jon's mother has always been Christian and raised him with both younger brother and sister in a Christian life style. The pastor of the church Jon was attending, allowed him to be head drummer of the church band. This is where Jon was going threw some of the most confusing times of his life. Despite all the attention Jon put into his music, the world around him was trying that much more to lead him away from his dreams. Being raised under a traditional house hold, Jon's parents always tried to teach him to be a hard worker and not live the "street life". As much as Jon's parents warned him about what's out there, his curiosity only grew stronger as to "WHY" or "WHAT" his parents did not want him to see. This is where Jon started learning how the streets interact. The older Jon got, the more his interest for the streets grew. By the age of 16 Jon had more understanding for the streets than ever, this is where he made the decision of going against his parent's biggest concern, living the "street life" and putting his education aside, but his dream for music had not faded one bit. This is where Jon started expressing him self by writing lyrics. As much as Jon wanted his dreams to come true, the traditional mind of his parents made his dream seem nearly impossible for him to make them a reality. Jon was forced to overcome one of his biggest obstacles in his life, prove to everyone around him that MUSIC is his dream. The same passion for music is what motivated him to study everything he needs to learn about the music industry and leave the "street life" alone. By the age of 18 Jon was already writing his own songs, composing his own beats, recording his own tracks, and mixing everything down him self. With help from texts books and online resources about the music business, Jon was able to start his own record label "Latin Touch Records" in 2007, and signed himself under the label along with close friend Luro. With all the tools needed and with faith in God Jon Guevara has independently placed himself in the position he is now, and is more prepared than ever to face what lies ahead. With the testimony of what he has walked and seen, and the experiences that this life has put him threw Jon Guevara is now more than ready to share to the REST OF THE WORLD THAT MUSIC IS HIS DREAM. We must not allow the evil this world may bring, stop our dreams from becoming reality. - Jon Guevara.
