Three Days 'Til Morning
The lyrics usually come first. A loving thought, a bit of political outrage, a meaningful look at life, a good joke: the idea catches hold and a lyric begins to grow from it. A melody attaches itself and chords emerge, and after a lot of plying and turning it around a song emerges. Some are just for practice, some for friends and some want to get out there in the world. These are a handful of the ones that escaped my room for a wider audience. Just sit back and let the lyrics have their way with you. They are the message carried on the medium of voice and strings.
