Jerry started singing in the Harrison Family Gospel Quartet in Southern California when he was ten years old. The quartet featured his sister Billie, brother John ( featured on the album) and his father Bud, who was a minister and taught Gospel singing schools. Jerry has been the lead singer in three championship Barbershop Quartets, The Bayshore Four, The Cascade Connection, and the 2000 International Senior Barbershop Quartet Champions 'OVER TIME'. He started writing music in 1982 and his songs have been performed and recorded by many other artists. In 2005, his song, There's A Little Bit Of Heaven In My Soul, was selected by the GMAC as a finalist in the Gospel Song Wrting competition and was performed in Nashville by Jerry and his grandaughter Lindsey Reightley at the GMAC conference. The song placed 2nd in the Southern Gospel Category. Currently Jerry continues to perform and compose and is available for performances as a gospel soloist and with his babershop quartet, Over Time.
