"Invincible Summer." Within Jed's a Millionaire's winter, that's just what they found, their Invincible Summer... a collection of powerful, uplifting songs that evoke a positive, hopeful emotion. For this record, the band once again enlisted the help of powerhouse producer Mikal Blue (Colbie Callait, Angel Taylor) and brought aboard Andrew Williams (Five For Fighting). The result is an amazing collection of songs that take the listener to a higher, even better place. This record takes listeners in a different direction from the band's previous album, "Haunt." It's a definitive example of the band's efforts to progress and grow. Once again, R. Shawn Harrington crafts a landscape of lushly textured songs with heartfelt, emotionally relevant messages. From the first track, "Bioluminesce" exclaims "you really light my way," words that reflect the theme of the entire record; a theme of hope and promise that "somehow, someway there's a place for everyone" from the song, "Cottonfields." Simple, fun, lighthearted messages such as, "I have never been here before, but it feels like home to me," from "Alleywaykiss" are messages that ring true to listeners and allow them to believe that in the depths of their own winters, they too will find an Invincible Summer.
