Edge of Jazz
At 16 years of age I said to my friends that I would be a famous guitarist. My friends laughed at the idea because I never really played guitar. I still picked up the guitar and started playing. I played one note, and one string at a time until 1 year later I was able to play better than people who had been playing for 3 - 5 years. Everything changed for me when I started recording my self at my 1st job as a graveyard shift Janitor. I used a karaoke machine they had in the audio booth. I started realizing I could make songs. After that, with help from my mom, I started to do direct recordings on our home computer and my dads tape deck stereo. I figured out how to layer tracks and make beats by hitting wrenches on the guitar strings. My recording progression became exponential after that point. Every album was a new learning experience. I would get a new piece of guitar equipment and immediately I would write a song or an album to use the equipment. When I wanted to master a technique either in guitar playing or recording I would write whole songs around the techniques. This constant persistent passion, led to me prolifically pumping out new songs and albums almost on a yearly basis. I now have over a decade of writing, recording, mixing, and mastering under my belt. I have become an official Studio Engineer. I offer mixing and mastering services to others. Well known hip hop artist such as Dr. Awkward (www.drawkward.com) and ZeaLouS1, have trusted me with engineering their music. As of 2013, I have taken everything I have learned from every experience I have been apart of (musically and personally) and poured it into my current album 'Stories.' I feel that this album represents how far I have come as an Engineer, a Musician, and a person. Please feel free to message me for mixing and mastering services, and I hope you enjoy my music.
