What started as a lost young man (me) with no direction, no goals, no spiritual awareness has blossomed into another success story. It is not because of any special knowledge that I possess or any great skill that I brought to bear on my own situation. It is because, once again, the 'Grace and Mercy' of the infinite One has proven sufficient. Sufficient to rescue me from the muck and mire of my pathetic existence and to replace mediocrity with a spirit of service, and love for His people. As with most, the matriculation through the 'School of Life' has not been an easy one. There have been set backs, disappointments, pain. There have been times when non-existence was preferable to existence, but, through it all, the promises of God have been the undergirding on top of which I have placed my hope. He says, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you...', Heb 13:5. There have been so many who have contributed to this project, this Experience. God has placed people in my life to facilitate His plans. I would like to thank my parents for birthing me, my mother, in particular, for showing me Christ, Dr. Doggett for teaching me how to be a visionary and how to be passionate about ministry, my good friend Kelvin Wooten whose expertise was invaluable in the recording process, the list could go on indefinitely. Most of all, I would like to thank my wife. It would be untruthful to say that we have always agreed, or that we have never felt like giving up on each other. What is true, is that we are still here. Twenty four years ago, God gave us each other. The union has resulted in 3 beautiful children. The joy (and sometimes not -- parents understand, smile) of our lives. My family is the most precious thing to me in the world. They, through the guiding of the Holy Spirit, have kept me grounded and prayerful. I praise God for them. As you listen to this project, hear beyond the music, beyond the bass line and the keyboard padding. Listen for 'The Experience...', it 'Continues...'
